Aircraft Sheet metal Assemblers Job Description Many Needed

Must be able to perform a variety of aircraft assembly operations ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive. To make major sheet metal assembly structures such as fuselage panels, bulkheads, and structural subassemblies. Align parts on jigs using templates and fixtures. Performs such operations as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming. Measures parts to verify dimensions. Works from blueprint diagrams and drawings. Monitors and verifies qualify.
Must be able to use applicable tools and equipment; must have knowledge of types of metal, fasteners, adhesives and applications. Must be able to use micrometers seals and calipers; machines and power tools. Will read work orders, blueprints and specifications. Examine samples or damage part or structure to determine repair or fabrication procedures and steps of operations.

Locate and mark dimension and reference lines on defective or replacement part using templates, scribes, compass etc. Remove or cut out defective part or drill holes to gain access to internal defect or damage, using drill and punch

Will communicate with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or discuss processing repair of parts. Clean, strip, prime, and sand structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding. Cure bonded structure, using portable or stationary curing equipment. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

 
Aircraft Sheetmetal Fabricators Job Description - Many Needed

Must be able to use tools and equipment; Must have knowledge of types of metal and application; be able to use micrometer scales and calipers; machines and power tools (including shears, brake presses, routers, drill press saws, roll framers, water jets, and pneumatic riveters, etc. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical data.
